Congratulations Owen on your first of no doubt many NYT crossword puzzles. I have to admit I had to cheat on a few of the clues...
Wonderful puzzle, and a wonderful tribute to a friend. Rest in Peace, Arjun.
@Shaun I hated this puzzle until I solved it and then I loved this puzzle. Perfect Saturday. Thank you!
There's something interesting going on between this puzzle and the one published today in Slate https://slate.com/life/2024/05/crossword-slate-daily-puzzle-may-19-2024.html. (I do a lot of crosswords.) See for example: NYT 58A, Slate 5D NYT 21A, Slate 21D Quite a coincidence. Or is this kind of borrowing common and I've just never noticed before?
Typo. I meant to say NYT 21A, Slate 27D
@Eric Hougland Good. I was worried the stationery industrial complex had come from the crosswords.
