Deb — Really hate to see you go, but hope you enjoy retirement as much as I do. Without your enthusiasm and encouragement I probably wouldn’t have persevered in my 15+ years crossword journey and would have had an unknown void in those and future years. In my early times when stuck on puzzles, my look-ups relied on your mantra, “it’s your puzzle and you can do with it what you want”! Thanks for your excellent introductions, as I always looked forward to Thursdays and Fridays!

I believe this may outrank all of the Mondays I’ve encountered for the 15+ years I’ve been attempting to solve NYT puzzles! Great theme and very nice cluing. Hope to see more Mondays of this caliber!
