@Ben BlackwellI I rarely comment, especially with negative feedback since I know how much work goes into creating these puzzles, but this was not a fun solve for me either. So many obscure words - I love expanding my vocabulary, but these are just not ones I'll be tempted to use in a sentence any time soon.

@Marshall Walthew I am so sorry for your loss and so happy that you have these lovely memories.

@HeathieJ this reminds me of the old (and obviously outdated) personal ad that says: WANTED Good woman who can cook, clean fish, and owns boat and motor. Send photo of boat and motor.

@SP Happy Birthday, and sames!

@Linda Jo sorry to hear about your Mom, wishing her a speedy recovery.

@BW I totally disagree. I love when a first pass yields nearly nothing but then little light bulbs start popping when I start thinking on the constructor's wavelength. To me, this was the perfect Saturday, and Paddidle reminded me of road trips with my parents, both gone now but I am ever so grateful when things make me think of them.

@Hanson and maybe sometimes denial comes disguised as optimism.

@Marshall Walthew or would that be "strong felines"?

@anya I thought these clues were at best INAPT, and most certainly insensitive to the suffering being inflicted on your country and other countries. Stay safe, sending love.

@Bonnie and it will always be the Gulf of Mexico to me.

@Joe Horton sames

@john ezra I enjoy saying "cotyledons" more than most other words.

@Clare hope you and toddler are doing better!

@Suzy M. and I got hung up on BUDSEASON which seemed logical to me (even though REB cycle did not!).

@SP ha, I was gonna comment that I wished "cylindrical side piece" had made the cut - I love it!

@Jamie yes, I'm curious too. I thought "Competitive poker" was brilliant and many others a ton of fun.

@Cat Lady Margaret oh thanks for the memory, our hall was narrow enough (and we were young and wiry enough) to climb up the walls in the same manner so we "hid" at various heights above the person who was "it".

@Cal Koolaid woot woot!! That IS a big deal, congrats!

@Times Rita she might be!

@dutchiris truth.

@Barry Ancona oof, that was too soon?

@Pendant same for me! Thanks, @Francis!
