Loved it!! The aha moment, which came very late for me, made me chuckle out loud. I really don't understand the constant complaining about Thursday puzzles. I do the puzzle because it is fun, a challenge, something I look forward to everyday. If you don't enjoy the extra added puzzle that is a Thursday, then don't do it! Find another Thursday crossword. Why upset yourself unnecessarily with something that should be fun?
Loved it!! Took me a minute, but loved that aha moment. Always look forward to Thursdays. And one part of the fun is reading all the whiny comments. If you know you don't like Thursday puzzles, then don't do Thursday puzzles. 🙄
Loved the puzzle. And Cloud Atlas and Number the Stars are two of my all time favorites. But having the name of a member of the current administration show up in the puzzle, seems the antithesis to the theme of thos puzzle. I do the puzzles to escape, if briefly, the current horror of what our country is becoming.

Are all stoners pot smokers? Because certainly all pot smokers are not stoners. At least in the way we used "stoners" back in the day.

@Frank As covid lock down was just beginning and kids were home from school, ( high school and college!) one of our first projects, and most memorable was a tin can telephone we constructed with our neighbors.

Only puzzle with a stated theme is Sunday.
