@Vaer wowowow, i didn't have that turned on either, i had no idea!! thank you for the very helpful comment, i just went back to the completed puzzle and turned on this setting, and realized it even shows you where the word begins and ends, and which way you're spinning! really wish i'd had it turned on when i got to INTERPRETIVE and i thought i knew what it was but the T-E-R-P-R-E-T string got me going the wrong way around!! really threw me for a loop lol
