Good to learn 'petrichor', love that smell! Funniest clue ever for BOTOX.

Delightful! YOINK, LAGUNITAS, AYPAPI,and finally, KOTEX! Thank you, lady constructors! All hail team women!

So lovely. So many poetic elements. In addition to the double letters and alliterations Caitlin writes about, the simple beauty of CONGO ANDGO. Knowing French and Italian definitely helped. Haven't figured out the homage to Wallace Stephens yet, but enjoying the journey so much!

This was a perfect puzzle.

Toughie. Good on ya!

Btw, great picture of the goofy 'swans'!

TIL that SNEERY is a word

Well, I know absolutely nothing about baseball or its slang, but was still able to do crossword. Good Monday.

Very clever!

Lovely.

Oh yeah, English major so knew about 'les petits morts'

Has DISTRESSED instead of ACID WASHED for the longest time. Never heard of SONES. Learned about FRIEND(S)OFDOROTHY on a cruise ship a long time ago. My sister lived in Japan so I knew about NOHTHEATER. Enjoyable solve, thank you!

Especially because I parsed 'dic' as " dick...dick...dick"...what does that have to do with gossip?

OK xword, but not funny pun.

All those lovely "y"s...

Great puzzle, hardest clue for me was 'two o'clock' - just figured out right now 'of the clock'!

Fantastic. Very enjoyable.

Great Saturday! Some were gimmes: TSARIST, ASAHI. Got stuck forever trying to make BERNARD, BARNARD, RUSTIN....oh, BAYARD! Partly because I got caught in a loop of don- ning clothes.... Hello to Durango commenter...this has been a spectacular Autumn high up on the Western slope...the leaves were coruscating by the minute over the past three weeks.
