It was BEEyuteeful and BEElightful. Please, noone say it was too easy to BEE a Wednesday Congratulations! You solved a Wednesday Crossword in 31:05. YOU HAVE A 3-DAY STREAK It was my first three day streak.
Look. Look, look. Look, look, look. I learned to read with Dick and Jane in the NYC public school system in the 50s. Of course I knew they didn't live in Brooklyn. They lived somewhere near The Beaver.
Pleasure . Send more John
Good one but ooh baby , this was way beyond my pay grade. Without autocheck I was in a daze. Hard Tuesday.
I grew up singing that paddywack song, Wore thongs before the word morphed into a bikini bottom that shows off your derrier. Had to stop dallying, and clean my room. My kids played beer pong in college. This was down and around and over the rainbow, no penny backs, easy-peasy. Thanks
Two days in a row easy peasy. I'm feeling smarter than when you make them harder.
@Andrzej You are making me wanna set Duolingo to Polish
Late to the game but I loved this puzzle . It gave me great satisfaction to solve it since for me at first it did not appear to be easy and I am a Monday, maybe Tuesday or Wednesday solver . Fagettabout the rest of da week. But suddenly I looked away and back while multitasking and Klimt and Goya were staring back at me. AHA ! From there Miro and Klee were EZ and so much information came from those two artists that the rest of the puzzle fell right into place . Made me feel like I was cheating . Very satisfying .
Doubletrouble. My pairofpuzzles got me on a twodaytuesday streak!
@sotto voce and when I saw a painting of regal man in uniform in my aunts living room my dad told me it was general Goldberg of the 4th Brigade.
@Jim You mean Chiller Theatre! and yes I remember.
Harumph. So I don't get it. I suppose I'm a rebus newbee... Soon to be a quitbee. I do puzzles electronically and this one, so beyond my paygrade, I had to read wordplay and click autocheck (not as a cheat but as a learning tool) Still, I do not see how I can fit two letters into one empty square electronically. For example 4 down comes out LLLIPOP. My Grid will not accept two letters in one spot.
@Pezhead Thanks for that I was busy yesterday. I'll go back.
