I asked about your favorite ending of CLUE, the classic murder mystery movie, so it's only fair to share mine. [Spoiler Alert!] “But here’s how it really happened.” The last (and best) ending reveals that each victim was killed by a different character, and each killer had a different motive. The highlights are when Professor Plum (Christopher Lloyd) learns he killed the wrong man (“Oh shucks,” he replies.) and when Mrs. White (Madeline Kahn) stammers about her anger feeling like "flames on the side of my face!" Best of all, this is the only ending where Tim Curry is revealed to be one of the bad guys, a role he plays so well.
@Mark When I started doing the puzzle I went back about 3 or 4 years. The answers in those puzzles were "relevant" enough that I could muddle my way through the things I didn't know.
@Charles Nelson Reilly It is 100% valid to love all three edited together. It is the multiple endings that make this movie stand out so much. Part of my love of the last one is the buildup from the previous two.
@Chase It actually has been eight years and four months. I did round down.
@NYC Traveler In order to keep up with my streak, I have had to make sure that I never go on vacation anywhere without internet and I account for the time difference when I travel internationally. No camping or hiking in the wilderness for me.
@Jacqui J I think this puzzle was made for you. I am glad your son got the care he needed and agree that NEONATAL NURSES are heroes. I give you kudos for getting on a MECHANICAL BULL even once. You are braver than me.
@Laura You mentioned a rewinding machine and a box of tapes. Do you have an actual VCR though? I owned a VCR until about 2010. At that point, it was only used to watch old home movies.
@Eric My husband is not a fan of the movie either so you have him on your side. I was too young to see the film in theaters so I’ve only seen the televised version with all the endings. I absolutely love the cast but I may have felt differently if I saw the movie when it was limited to an ending other than my favorite. I do think, however, that Mary Li deserved a chance to redeem herself!
