@Nick. I totally agree. This was an awful crossword. Anyone can remove letters to fit words in the spaces.

This was a lazy way of constructing a crossword. If you can't fit a word in its entirety in the spaces available, revise your word choices. Anyone can shorten words to fit them in the spaces.

@Rich in Atlanta. Ok thanks, I guess my problem was with "not feeling so hot" meaning ill. Thanks. I was thinking in the literal sense for hot (although it could refer to having a fever, I guess). Thanks.

Can someone please explain to me the clue, "Doesn't feel so hot," in the Midi? Answer is "AILS." 17 Down. This is driving me crazy.
