It’s rare anymore that a Sunday puzzle can hold my interest. This one did. I enjoyed it and appreciate it. I found it clever and sweet. A balm in a difficult world. I didn’t expect the negativity and extreme nitpicking in the comments. Is everyone considering this forum an easy place to vent after a tough couple of weeks? If so, while understandable, it’s sad. We need to nurture our balms.
@Willard Not sure how to reliably distinguish entertainment from nonsense. And calculators as esoteric? Not to most people older than Gen Z.
@Ann Briefly in the ‘80s, a mullet-adjacent haircut, the rattail, was popular amongst young lesbians. I had one, and others had similar mullet-ish cuts. But, yeah, I would never go so far as to associate lesbians with mullets, or vice-versa, especially in the last 35 years.
