The crossed words in this crossword come across as brilliant. The give/steal craftiness is clever and fun to begin with, but to make every theme answer cross exactly its pair and no other, and the revealer do that too, don't cross words with me because it crosses the line! I LOVED it. <3

A+. Clever, enjoyable, perfect clues and answers for a Tuesday, and a surprise treat at the end. I saw the symmetry of all the As but did not see that they make an A til the animation. Fun!

Brilliant and fun. Today's Strands puzzle theme surely was coordinated?

One of those days I want to hug the constructor. A theme that invokes fond memories, a welcome ear worm, massively occupying the entire grid and arranged perfectly both geometrically and meaningfully. Wow! And no rap trivia as a bonus. A big hug. No, FYI, leaving it up to me to understand the titular clue out of respect for the allegorical show title would NOT have increased my enjoyment 🤯

A little too easy? I love an easy puzzle but this one blew my personal best time by 90 seconds... That's NUTS. Across, down, DONE. I thought something was wrong when I didn't start the second pass. Never happened before. Anyway, thanks for the ear worm .. Ebony and Ivory is a good one to have on a Monday ;)

48 down and 86 down were easy giveaways for people "my age" that in turn gave me square 93 when I had only about 10% solved, and then 93 down made the whole puzzle easy. If you didn't have the script of Grease etched in your head and hadn't seen the archaic spelling of the CCP chairman's name regularly in the news, this puzzle would have been a lot harder. And I'm delighted to have an easy one because I struggle with puzzles filled with rap artists and modern professional athletes!

Awesome theme, I really enjoyed that. And thank you, editors ... DOYEN would be meh and even though I worked in in FX for years I would have had to look up Armenia 🤔. An extra thumbs up for no rap trivia.
