I played a prank on myself and nodded off while doing today's puzzle, so it took me 39:46!
Seemed daunting at first but in the end was a fun puzzle!
I enjoyed it, my compliments to the constructor!
This constructor achieved something -- my least favorite puzzle ever.
Fun puzzle! Now I want to see that scrabble game!
Perhaps it was partly due to sleepiness, but I had to look a lot of things up. Whew, what a challenging puzzle!

@Lisa E Normally I would agree with your dislike of rebuses, but these were so easy I didn't mind them.

Wow, I found this puzzle really hard! In the end I enjoyed it, but I did look some things up. Did anybody else have 'apes' instead of 'xmen' for a while?

@Steve L Different brains think differently. I've been solving for years and knew they use zed over there but had to guess quite a few letters before hitting Z.
