@Robco when you read the answers to the starred clues out loud, you'll find yourself saying "B-2", B-9", etc., as though you're calling out squares for a game of Bingo. Because they all land in the B column, if you had all of the numbers on your Bingo card, you'd win and yell "Bingo!".
The theme in this one totally stumped me until I switched from solving on the phone to the computer, where trick to the starred clues suddenly became clear. Amazing what a change in perspective can do!
The Rogers Centre used to be called the SkyDome, a reference to its shape and retractable roof.
@lawrence if you have dark mode on, it'll be harder to see because the pencil marks are grey
