The vertical puzzle may hold interesting challenges for many, but the online puzzle is too small for my impaired vision. A challenge that is a bridge too far.

Variety, I have been told is the spice of life. But I find today’s puzzle too much variety. As a fun bonus puzzle, I’d enjoy it. As “my daily crossword” no thank you.

Took me way longer than the usual Wednesday to solve. But really got my brain working faster than a second cup of coffee! Good puzzle.

Just celebrating that for the first time an illustration in the grid did not block the “system” from declaring “solved” and awarding a gold star …for the tree topper maybe? Happy Christmas!
