This puzzle was not for me. I don't usually do Thursdays, so seeing what this one required made me to decide to stop and cut my losses. If this is your thing, glad you enjoyed it.

@Kim I discovered the same, after reading the WordPlay column. This is typically something that happens on Thursdays, where they will include an extra layer of rebuses and/or other types of word games. I don't enjoy those types of puzzles as much and usually skip Thursdays. If you would like to know the trick to filling out today, I encourage you to read the column.
@Marcia Fidler I had that issue too. The kind person who replied to my email did fix it and suggested I clear my history in my browser. That helped, too!
for the past 3 days I have completed the crossword but I am not hearing the jingle, nor have I gotten a congratulatory note. I know the puzzles were correct. Has this happened to anyone else?
