9.5/10 for Friday difficulty. Some very clever clues, and none that I felt were unfair (like some random Oscar winner for Best Costumes in the '70s). Frankly, I think SAFETYSCHOOL is rather brilliant and throwing in a good Yiddishism is quite appealing to this NYC Jew.

I'm happy and proud to call Miranda a close friend for many years. She is clever, funny and quite ingenious and these qualities all come through in her first Sunday puzzle. I enjoyed it tremendously. The triple/double theme was great and there were no obnoxiously obscure clues that made me want to throw my phone out the window. Congratulations to my friend and hopefully we see many more. Thanks Will for recognizing her talent!

My Saturday record! 31 mins. Very clever puzzle with some fun clues. PENSET had me for a while, as did FISTS. And perhaps I have amnesia, but I never heard of (let alone watched) SAMANTHAWHO. But it all came together nicely. Thanks for a good, challenging, yet not insanely hard, Saturday!!!

After a very hard Thurs, Fri and Sat, I was happy to have a nice easy and fun solve. I must admit that KIT-KATs are among my favorite candy bars. Now I relax and enjoy a guilt-free treat!

Too easy for Friday. 17 min. I kinda feel cheated. Wed & Thurs this week both much more difficult. This could have been a Wednesday and no one would have questioned it. Going for 100 day streak tomorrow, so now I have to think the Xword gods will throw something hellish at us...

I am very confused. I filled in the rebuses (rebi?) with every combination of ONE,ONE TWO,FOUR THREE,NINE All answers correct No music or gold star!!! Wasted 15 min Then I did simply ONE, TWO & THREE and, bingo. So, what the F? Can someone enlighten me???
