I was a little slow on figuring out why NAPA was a place for grape nuts. D'oh! (I probably shouldn't admit that.) Cute theme.
So, it's news to me that "The Floor is Lava" is a new game. I remember playing at a kid in the late 60s (possibly early 70s) but I'm pretty sure it was in the 60s. I played it at my godfather's house with his kids. He and his wife wondered what was happening to their doorknobs because we had used them to stand on to swing on a door from one place to another (bed to dresser for example).
ENISLE !? That's one that would have never occurred to me especially as I'm not sure I've ever encountered it before.
@Amy agreed. I had written in TYVM and couldn't figure out how BvMETER was supposed to work (it didn't). I've been playing around on the internet and online communications since Al Gore invented it and cannot remember ever seeing TYSM even once. It does make sense and I can believe that it's in use in some communities but I haven't ever seen it. YMMV.
Hmm, I scanned the comments (but not all of them) and only saw one response to your tractor query and that respondee was also stumped. I think both OhIo and oHiO slightly resemble a sketch a tractor. The key is having the O and the o for big and small wheels. The rest of it is less obvious.
@Hillary Rettig I think someone else posted the joke or one similar. :)
@Amy, I had the same trouble which was why I ventured over here to the comment threads to see if anyone else was still puzzled. Thank you for asking and thank all you responders for the enlightenment. As someone who as frequently added and has a couple of mathematics degrees I am somewhat embarrassed in not figuring it out on my own!
@Warren and I thought of bsky.app !!
@JGrey I didn't realize that some dictionaries recognized it but I have used it somewhat tongue in cheek on multiple occasions. Maybe it's because I have volunteered to ush (usher) often that I have heard and used the term.
