I was a friend of Anita Borg, and I was so touched to see her name in the crossword (that Institute for Women in Technology is not named for her -- the Anita Borg Institute). She was a great inspiration to many of us and I'm glad to see her remembered. Thank you Willa Miller
@Caroline Kearney I totally agree. (and she still looked great in a bikini at 50). I knew her at the end of her life after she left tech to build IWT (I think I was one of the last people to visit her). I was also the moderator for Systers, the women in computing mailing list she started, perhaps when you knew her.
@Steve L I had totally forgotten that. I was at her 50th (her last milestone birthday), so I should have remembered.
@Bill and Anita played up her "Borg connection" to the hilt. It was part of her nerdy sense of humor
