I hardly ever finish a Friday but I got this one in 27m, which is good for me! I feel like I’m finally getting a grip on the longer answers like ENEMYSPIES and THATREMINDSME. They’re certainly tougher than the shorter ones, but that makes it all the more satisfying to get them. Had lots of fun with this!

I was expecting a bunch of “too easy” comments because this is the second or third time I have ever completed a Friday! I loved this puzzle. FOES and UNITED NATIONS stood out to me as clever clues. Took me 52min but I’m proud of myself!

Really liked this puzzle, one of the first Thursdays I’ve completed. POSSE got me good. Also I have never heard of TANGELO but the hint that it was a portmanteau meant I could eventually get it anyway. I had to dig deep into the recesses of my brain to find BRANGELINA, having figured out that was the only spot for the final ANGEL to appear.

@Steve L Here are some better stats from later in the day: Difficulty: Hard Median solve time: 18:16 36% were faster than their Friday average 15% were much faster than their Friday average 64% were slower than their Friday average 38% were much slower than their Friday average Also, I think this website only has data from people who have signed up to it and given it access to their account data, so it is likely skewed towards crossword veterans
