Did any other non-US solvers struggle with the midi?

I'm no crossword expert but can usually manage Monday to Wednesday. Really struggled with this one though and had to resort to revealing a few squares, too many gaps in my knowledge ...URIAH, RIAN, DARIA, ALTA, MSNBC, GSIX, NOAH, CITYOFSTARS.
