I had a great time with this one after a tough Saturday. The wordplay was great fun and the clueing creative. Also I was 7 mins faster than my Sunday average so that might have something to do with how much I liked it :)

My time (34:41) is a complete misrepresentation of how much of my day this crossword took up, angsting over clues during train rides and football matches until I finally got there. Also TIL about the panda, having grown up in the age of neon yellow police cars. Anyway I didn’t enjoy this one but it’s done, thank goodness. Bring on Sunday.

It was hard work and then suddenly it was done and quicker than my usual Saturday time? I don’t understand but I loved it. Dough at a taqueria was my fave.

I enjoyed the theme and the puzzle overall! Definitely learnt some new words and US-isms today.

A delightful throwback! It took me a min to remember what the numbers meant but so fun when I did.

I really enjoyed this one! There were some tricky spots but persistence got me to the end.

I, too, loved “Pan in the butt”

I liked this one a lot and the revealer helped me as someone from another shore. The NW corner was particularly difficult. Well done!

Loved this. PLATH/HAT makes much more sense than my original guess: PLATo/oAT (I’m tired)

This one went very quickly for me until I became caught at 44D/52A. I had talk for a while and was purely guessing at the brand name. But got there eventually. (Also initially guessed GoldBALL, which would be a nice reward though probably quite expensive.)

I loved this one as a Shakespeare nut! If crosswords be the food of love, play on.

A fun and quick one for me, except for REPO, which I hadn’t heard before and needed the crosses to solve. lol @ Armageddon review.

43A/47D threw me for a bit. And I had marshland for 39A at first but it soon gave way.
