This puzzle was far too easy for a seasoned solver like me. As a native of Madagascar, I got TENREC right away. I also happen to work at a grocery store. CROCKER was an easy hint to solve. Nice try Barbara. Better luck next time stumping the best crossword solver on the island.

I have been secretly camping out in Arnold Schwarzenegger's garage for the past three weeks. There have been a couple close calls, but so far nobody has discovered my presence. On a separate note, I am arguably the greatest crossword solver of all time. Because of the weeks I have spent intently listening to Arnold's daily interactions, I am familiar with the cadence in which is name is pronounced. AHNOLD was an easy fill. Might I add that I am the CEO of a famous company (which I shall not name), and am in touch with the term "HEAVIES." Overall, Adam Wagner and Rebecca Goldstein failed to stump me. Despite it being fun to solve Sunday puzzles in under 15 minutes, I sometimes wish for a real challenge.

This puzzle was nothing short of a pure disappointment. I managed to solve this one 30 minutes under my average, at just 7:32. This is yet another example of why the NYT crosswords are beginning to feel like a chore. They are too easy and lack much brainstorming. Please come to me with a real challenge tomorrow.

I enjoy watching DEESDEES on YouTube. They are often hit or miss, just like this puzzle. An intriguing gimmick, yet also poorly clued. The key to the puzzle is left up to sheer interpretation. I had to check the column to actually understand it after completing the puzzle. Fortunately, I am the greatest NYT Crossword solver of all time. I miss the good old days, where NYT Crosswords were even somewhat challenging.
