@Andrzej True. They would force unsold clothing unto unhoused canines. Atrocious.

@Kate F For a good while, I was thinking "Heat setting in a car, so... feet."

@Andrew Zucker I appreciate the lengths to which the author went, to get reality to fit the publication of this puzzle.

Question to the kind crossword solvers: I have been avoiding completing the Sunday puzzle, because it is very cumbersome to do it on the phone, due to the small screen vs large crossword problem, and to the small size of the letters / spaces. I switched to a Pad, but that did not solve the issue, as half the screen of the Pad is occupied by an useless clues list. Is there any way to make the crossword itself appear full-screen on a Pad (Android)? Otherwise the letters / spaces are too small, and basically the same problem gives with both the phone and the Pad. Any useful suggestions would be much appreciated! (Nota bene: I do like to see the crossword in its entirety, so zooming in on one corner is not useful for my purposes. (The regular crosswords are just the right size for the phone, but the Sunday one, due to size, becomes a chore.)

@Sandy Actually it's from "Woody Allen" (since he writes all his movies).

Well, this wasn't good. Witty and inventive is not the same as misleading or imprecise. And filling most of it with phrases instead of words is cheap and random.
