A stunning Friday! Solved it with a friend immediately after finishing up yesterday's (I'm glad to be among the seemingly few that enjoyed the outside-the-box theme- it was my birthday puzzle!) We definitely worked our brains with two back-to-back tricky puzzles but I was delighted by how lively and clean the fill in this one was. My favorite entries were OFFTHEGRID, READYORNOT, PLAYMONEY, and BITTERSWEET. So impressed with how jam-packed it is with fun entries tho; a feat of crossword construction. So much fun all around!!!! A couple weeks ago my philosophy professor said something about how philosophers love using weasel words in their arguments and I thought - what a delightful little phrase! and jotted it down in the margin of my notes. All to say I was delighted just the same seeing them pop up once again in today's crossword. Thank you Professor Kane for the extra bit of help and thank you Rena for a delightful puzzle all around :)
