Becauss of my crossings i really thought 27D was ANISE, because yeah, star anise is a cluster of pods, that makes so much sense, and i didnt know what EDT was nor have i watched good dinosaur yet.
I find it quite fun that Madam Edebiri shows up in both themeless puzzle for this week. Im not surprised she has shown up 4 times this year alone!

The parallel of AINTITFUN and DONTSPEAK really gives me the impression that at some point DONTSPEAK was clued as pop hit by No Doubt, making two parallel pop rock hits. I love both songs!

@J the three letter variant is also a valid spelling. If you'll notice, it's even in the name! SOLfege There is a korean drama TV show about a pianist called "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol". I've never watched it but my mother likes it.
