My favorite kind of puzzle in that there was no way I knew every answer but was able to infer or sometimes outright guess the most likely answer. It pushed to the limit my primary mindset when solving: Always assume your answer might be wrong!

Was out of town and only just finished the Saturday puzzle and thought it was great with only a few minor problems. It was way over my average but I was able to slog through it with no look ups in just under 32 minutes. Sam and Byron Walden consistently deliver the best Saturday-level puzzles and I congratulate them for their efforts.

@Charlotte The story behind the name is that I had a housemate in the coop I lived in in college who started a group they called the Observation Club. They made t-shirts which had a uniquely hand painted eye in the front and on the back had a stylized person making the junior birdman gesture with the words C More B More below. It wasn't a real club as there were no dues, no meetings or any other official recognition other that the t-shirt. They were quite the character in almost every sense. One thing they did in particular was when riding in RAGBRAI they strapped a bowling bowl on the back of their bicycle and would stop at every bowling lane they came upon and play
