@Sandy Check the archives and do some of the Saturday puzzles from the 90’s. I did that and decided that, no, I really hadn’t gotten smarter.
I recently spent a month in Peru, which helped out nicely here.
For the record, Alta doesn’t specifically ban snowboarding. They simply don’t allow snowboarders to use the chairlifts.
When I was in school a classmate asked a math teacher how learning about imaginary numbers would help us in our later lives. He was told not to worry about that. (I still don’t know.)
@JudyYes. One way is to walk. But the other is to take a path from Snowbird to Alta. So you start at Snowbird, ride into Alta, head down to the base, then take the shuttle back to Snowbird. It's a bit of an effort, but snowboarders do it to annoy the skiers at Alta.
