Phenomenal grid (and debut?!) from Kathryn B. 10/4 Grant R. stars

Overall a fun puzzle from Kameron A.C. but the BAR(E/F)S ambiguity crossing with DIAN(E/F)OSSEY plus not knowing Kansas's Fort HAYS led to some look ups in the SE corner. I hate having to resort to look ups and I will be taking this out on my family later, 2/5 Grant R. Stars
