Nice puzzle and enjoyed it. However I wanted to share that being hit by Milton, losing power and internet and cell coverage, my street flooding, trees down, general chaos, the thing that upset me the most was that I was going to lose my 221 days streak. I know that is petty, but doing the crossword has been my way to cope with personal and professional crisis. That I was able to get back online and complete today’s puzzle has meant a lot. Thank you everyone at the puzzle department. And all the linemen restoring electricity here in the Tampa Bay Area. Thank you!!

Ardency?? What?

Really enjoyed today’s puzzle. But please do not use a certain candidate’s name as a clue. Ever. We get twenty four hours a day of that. The puzzle is a refuge for me to relax. Not to be reminded of how bad the world is.

Thank you for a very enjoyable puzzle. Really had fun. Especially as this was for my 500th solve. Now I can relax!!

This one was hard for me but enjoyable. Glad I am seeing that it was hard for others too. I had to do some look ups but that’s okay. Really enjoyed this one. Thanks.

Really enjoyed this puzzle. On the same wavelength. I am amazed at the various ways to clue “Oreo” into almost every puzzle. Haha.

This was way too gimmicky for me. Not enjoyable at all. Please stop with these types of puzzles.

Tried to fit Phrygian into 66 across but it wouldn’t fit. C’est la vie. Anyway, a very enjoyable puzzle. Really fun. Thank you for a nice solve.

I enjoyed this puzzle and had fun solving. But it occurred to me how the various baseball clues referenced in NYT puzzles must be so difficult for the foreign solvers. Imagine if we Americans saw clues about Cricket. I am guessing we would be stumped. Haha!

I should have known 64 across, since I go through bags of it every week! Took the crossings to get it. But an enjoyable puzzle anyway. Haha.

Super difficult for me. Had to cheat and lookup some of the more obscure clues. Boomer here but I still didn’t know the protest singer. Haha.

Very enjoyable puzzle. But could I ask if others are having issues playing on an IPhone? This area of Wordplay and comments is not available, all of a sudden. I can access this on my laptop but not on my phone. I sent a request, but so far only an AI robot answer. Maybe Monday they will fix it.

I did not enjoy this puzzle.

I had entered the Rebus squares as A/B but the puzzle would not solve. Re entered as just AB and I got completed. I am confused. Solving on an iPhone. Almost lost my streak. Am I alone?
