I hit a snag when I tried to force the lions to sleep in Detroit, but otherwise I really enjoyed this one. A smooth, friendly, well constructed Friday. The kind of solve that makes the coffee taste better. Wishing for many more puzzles like this in the future.
@JohnWM That song is perfect, and I laughed quite heartily. My progress was: “Jungle, ok doesn’t fit. Wait…the Lion King and all of those clips I never fully watched of lions stalking gazelles seemed to be on a Savannah. Can lions live in the jungle? *pulls from memory of eating at a Rainforest Cafe in the late 90s, but realizes can’t decipher between lion roar and other big cat noises* SPORTS!!!! I remembered a Sports thing! The D and E fit, but there is no signifier for an abbreviation. Ultimately, if I was a lion, regardless of corporeal form, I would rather be in Detroit with climate control and access to basic cable than sweating it out in a jungle where I’m not supposed to be anyway. I choose to believe that these lions were in cozy Detroit dens.
