Yay!!! My first ever correct crossword with no checks or reveals required !! Took six months but finally got there. Thanks for a great puzzle - now to work on getting a Tuesday one 😉

As a kiwi I must get a wee mention in that the longest place in the world is actually right here in Aotearoa: The world-record holder officially recognized by Guinness World Records is Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu (85 letters). Located on the North Island of New Zealand near Pōrangahau, it translates to English as "the place where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, who slid, climbed and swallowed mountains, played his flute to his loved one"

I immediately entered John smith as the Pocahontas answer (thanks Disney version) and was shocked to realise that wasn’t his real name!! (From NZ where we aren’t taught Native American history in school)

South West corner was my downfall today, as it seems was the case for many others. I don’t suppose I can come here and complain to a bunch of Americans about Epilogue having American spelling on an American puzzle now can I 😝 ………but STILL!!!!!
