Really beautiful puzzle! It took me a second once figuring out the revealer to understand how it connected to the other words. When I got it, it felt like an "Aha!" moment. Perfect level of difficulty for a Tuesday IMO. Glad to see my first year uni logic course come to use haha. What a lovely debut :)

Really enjoyable! My personal favourites were the clues for CIGARBOXES and PAGETURNER I can’t believe it took me so long to fill in MEETCUTES despite watching so many romcoms 🤣 I was thinking more of tropes like miscommunication whoops!

I wish the rebus had a circle so we knew it was something "abnormal"/aligned with the theme. Having one rebus really threw me off, I thought it was just me but many others had the same reaction. Apart from that, I really enjoyed this puzzle. I figured out the theme before all the letters were placed in the circles so I screenshotted the crossword and drew on it which was really fun!

I think this crossword was easier for Gen Z, because I managed to solve quicker than my average! I really enjoyed todays puzzle :)

Me trying to fit TKO into 48D 😅 Overall I really liked the theme/flow of this puzzle, I actually found it easier than the Tuesday puzzle this week. Although I will grumble a bit about MINORTEAM. I was expecting that it to be hard regardless of the wording as I don't know about American sports (not complaining though, I get its an American crossword)

I didn't have enough of the letters filled, so I thought it was ODDONEOUT Then I assumed one of the letters in each group was different from the other two. It led me down a rabbit hole and I had to eventually look at the article for help. I'm a beginner puzzle solvers and Thursdays get to me!

I liked this! The only thing that was unfortunate for me was most of the clues in the “Tricky clues” section I had filled out, but the ones I needed weren’t there 🤣 I got there in the end though lol

I figured out the theme pretty quickly, but had to search up the remaining state capitals I hadn't found yet :P

@Laura It was used a lot around 2016-2018 from memory. It's considered quite a millennial term.

This is the most fun I've had with a crossword in a while. Especially after a wednesday and thursday that I was completely stumped on, this was really enjoyable. I like how it wasn't to U.S. centred (I get it, this is a U.S. newspaper, but sometimes theres too many U.S. trivia in one crossword) & how there were questions for younger people! Thank you!

I for one am glad that there was no YELLOW light mentioned, as it would start a whole new debate on YELLOW vs AMBER lights (I, for one am team amber, but recognise this is an American based crossword so I am probably in the minority)
