So today actually is my birthday! This was such a fun treat that I was convinced the app had secretly replaced today's real daily puzzle.

Absolutely loved this one! When I first saw 20A's clue, I immediately thought it had to be the cyclops and was disappointed that the letters just didn't work, only to be delighted when I realized I was right later on. Can't say I remember hearing the name "Polyphemus" before, but luckily I knew enough from the other clues to work this one out. Usually Wednesdays are when I sometimes have maybe 3 or four clues I just can't get or start to need help, but this one was really on my wavelength. Not only did I keep up my streak from the past two days, and got it in 12:40, 20 minutes faster than my average Wednesday crossword.
