"Here's looking at you, kid"? leading to MAA is one of the worst clues that has ever been in the NYT crossword. Utter rot.

Ruined a long Tuesday streak for me unfortunately. Never heard of GELID, and I had MEALS for the wheels rhyme. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Holy moly. After this Friday's puzzle, I'm terrified of Saturday.

Loved it, but a bit easy for a Thursday in my book. I think it would fit nicely as a Wednesday.

Holy moly. One of the hardest Fridays in a long time.

Anyone else having trouble with the puzzle registering as complete in the Android app? The puzzle seems to understand that I completed it because I got the font change to the finger types. But when I go out to the main menu, it is showing as incomplete. If I go back into the puzzle, I get the "you finished" font again.

TAGSALE and CHEESED strike me as terms they need a regional clue, particularly for the former. That term is extremely limited to New England.

@BrooklynT Same! I found today's Saturday was easier than yesterday's Friday.

@Loopy That would be a classic Annie Lennox warning
