Breezy, fun puzzle! And I got my Wednesday best time! Though I must admit I had to go to Wordplay to understand the theme. Even after completing the puzzle, buries / berries as homophones didn’t click in my head. I was searching for some sort of buried letters or “lead!”

Just curious… If the clue is in Spanish (Comprende), shouldn’t the answer be in Spanish? That tripped me up!

Had the whole puzzle but for 2 squares 🥲 was done in by Tru crossed with Rapacious. Disappointed to be bested this week - onwards to next!
