After a really challenging Friday (which took me about 24 hours of simmering on it), I enjoyed this puzzle a lot! Still quite a bit of resistance for me, but solvable. I understand the more seasoned crossword-ers may have found it to be easy, but I’m still pleased with myself. After about 2 years of solving, this is my first time achieving an 8 day streak… hoping to complete my first full week straight (Mon-Sun) of gold stars if I am lucky tomorrow! 🍀

Breezy, fun puzzle! And I got my Wednesday best time! Though I must admit I had to go to Wordplay to understand the theme. Even after completing the puzzle, buries / berries as homophones didn’t click in my head. I was searching for some sort of buried letters or “lead!”

Just curious… If the clue is in Spanish (Comprende), shouldn’t the answer be in Spanish? That tripped me up!

After a couple years of crossword-ing, I have finally completed a 7 day streak!! Sundays have eluded me until this week (which was such a fun puzzle). They’re not all in one week (since the bleed over is from last Saturday), but I am proud to finally get a full week’s worth of puzzles in a row! A crossword Serena Slam, if you will? Feeling very happy!
