@Carrie Mmm, interesting. I know who Burke is, but wasn't aware she coined the term in 2006. The "metoo" answer was in a mini puzzle (I think) in the past few days with 2017 in the clue. I guess it's one more example of white culture co-opting Black culture. Nice to hear the trend is to give credit where it's due, but it sure threw me as a crossword clue! Thanks for the schooling.
I completed the puzzle and figured out how to read the "trick" answers, but didn't realize until I read the puzzle explanation that the shapes were chip shapes, or what "double dip" was referring to. I just knew how to read the answer correctly. I certainly didn't know until reading about it that the shape letters top to bottom would spell chips and salsa. Wonderful puzzle, and I didn't even have to Google any answers!

@kc I just finished the crossword and was also "puzzled" by PCP. Never heard of that before. Glad your question was high up in the comments and I got my answer pretty quickly.
What's up with today's Mini crossword? It keeps showing a puzzle from February that's been completed. Am I the only one?
It happened again. Today's Mini crossword puzzle is the one from February 16. Yesterday's Mini finally got fixed later in the day. What's going on? Also, why do they keep moving around the placement of the puzzles on the home page?
I hope it's ok to ask this here. Within the past few days (I think), there was a puzzle that had 3 or 4 long answers that were made up of all 2-letter state abbreviations. It was such a joy to figure that out and wanted to look at it again. But I can't find it now! I'm pretty sure it was a regular puzzle (not midi), but I've looked at a week's worth and can't find it. It was so clever! Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

Re today's Midi. Why are 3 squares greyed out with the letter "I" at completion?
@Wyra Thanks so much! The update did the trick. I wonder why there wasn't a nudge somewhere that let's you know there's a new version available. I think other apps sometimes let you know. Oh well, I'll keep that in mind if it happens again. Thanks again.
@K W YES!!! That's it! I would never have looked there for the answer. I could so picture it in a crossword grid. I do Connections everyday but it's my least favorite puzzle. I'm now shocked that there was actually something so clever in Connections! They probably found it in an old NYT crossword. :) Thanks again. I was sure I was going crazy.
