Fun solve — only a little mortified that the Kardashians made it into a CW theme together w the Brontes but well here we are.

Great puzzle, so this is nitpicky, and I’m sure it’s been brought up somewhere here but I haven’t gone through all the comments (Mountain TZ, late to the party): believe an idle “mind” is the devil’s workshop. Idle hands typically referred to as the devil’s plaything. All sayings are iterative, so there’s no hard/fast here, but caught me on the solve. Happy Wednesday!

120 across “Novelist Johnson who won the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for fiction” - Adam Johnson won the Pulitzer Prize in 2013. The novel was published in 2012. No actual pulitzer prize for fiction was awarded in 2012.

great puzzle today, and outstanding column. one super nitpicky gripe 16D — a spec script - pitch is not a direct 1:1, not even the same thing. so, yeah, inside baseball, but the hint can be misleading.

32A a little misleading. Released in 1999, performed at the SB halftime show and reentered the charts in 2022, but I do not consider Still Dre to be “of” 2022.

A fun solve, and agreed so great young folks are constructing. Think 13D works, though. The article was the key for me — “Butt of A joke,” as though a whoopee cushion is a “butt-focused” joke LOL.

Fun. But at 60D would argue that “That girl” is HER. Think “The girl” could solve to SHE.
