Got lucky with this one and solved it in almost 15 minutes flat. Guessed ACMECORPORATION up top and everything just fell into place. I love the use of the grid as a cartoon!

@Justin Ballard — Yes, but you can’t use the answer in the clue and a bass *is* a type of guitar (it’s literally short for bass guitar). So, tricky but it works.
