Not only was this puzzle difficult for a Monday, the clues were dumb IMO. When does literally mean backwards? More likely I’m dumb, but it was annoying to have to give up on a Monday crossword.

Excellent Saturday morning challenge for me. Took a while, but satisfied to earn my gold.

Literally had three answers filled in my first pass. Kept plugging away and figuring out the clever clues, and Bam! Got it all on my own. Satisfied. Agreed on comments about names and such, but that’s the game. Nice puzzle.
