feel like this crossword was for young solvers (such as me). absolutely demolished my best time and had fun doing it. never have gotten so many long clues on a first pass. yay for puzzles for youth!
@Mariah yeah to be fair a lot of the clues people get mad about are my first filled in š stay wary of young players everyone they deserve easy pop culture clues too
Loved it! A total breeze with a super fun theme- when I got Side FX I audibly laughed and rolled my eyes at the same time. So silly
@Steve L They meant to pick a cat from the shelter as opposed to buying a ādesignerā animal. Adopt donāt shop is the common slogan for this despite both options being a purchase
@Marko Yeah, I was prepared to move past one but two felt questionable to me⦠something about the puzzles meaning to bring up no negative feelings for people? I feel confident thatās one of the rulesā¦
Putting off finishing my senior thesis by working this. Fun one!!
I loved the theme. Every entry made me chuckle. Lots of āahas!ā That top left corner was brutal. I guess I need to study up on my Haitian revolutionaries! Congratulations on a formidable debut, Mr. Monfiston!
@Alex Also, DILATE drove me insane. I knew for a long time we were talking eyes, but I was convinced it was spelled dialate. Anywho. Got there eventually!
@RozzieGrandma yay! an easy puzzle to be sure. enjoyed references nonetheless
@StewH I agree. Perhaps ARISTEDE is my personal lack of knowledge, but I canāt stand āwhat key is this??ā clues. Especially since major and minor share so many letters and are the same length.
@B thatās the first one I got. Different strokes!
theme was easy enough. this puzzle had some really fun clues, loved MUMBLERAPPERS, ASKMOM, NINJASTAR, etc. Found some of the clues veryyyy niche trivia, which is challenging to parse when the across and the down is random historical facts and/or Turkish trivia. I'm sure there's a turkish historian somewhere out there that enjoyed it immensely, lol.
