I haven't done the crossword for quite a while but I do Connections every day. Just here to say how much I dislike the emojis. Please, no more emoji Connections!

Really enjoyed the cute theme. I wish the clues had been harder though ... I just breezed through this crossword. I feel like except for the circled letters being placed on a bias, this could have been a Tuesday puzzle.

Sadly, I didn't get the trick at all and had to come to the column to see what it was. Pretty nifty! I rather think the clues were too easy today, although there were some very clever ones. If they'd been harder I might have had to think a little harder about what the circles meant. I know I could have just thought about it a bit more after completing but ... my jigsaw puzzle is not going to get done by itself!
