That was really hard. When I first noticed how hard it was, I came here and read the comments about people finishing it very slowly and I was saying to myself "yeah but you don't understand this is so hard that I'm not going to be able to finish" and now I finished it in one hour and 34 minutes and I'm really happy about it. Very hard.

This was a tough Saturday and, as others have said, it was a bit on the Jeopardy! side as opposed to the wordplay side. I came here to say that looking things up online (as facts, not as crossword clues) is not in my view cheating.

"Forego" is the less-common spelling for "passing up" because it is incorrect, much like "forgo" does not mean "to come before".
