What I've always liked best about intriguing crossword puzzles is that they tell me how much I know while also telling me how much I don't. If I rarely happen to completely finish one, I feel it wasn't good enough. If I almost finish one, I know it was a good one. Perhaps it's the journey not the destination that counts.
