Well that ended my Sunday streak - bottom right corner was completely hopeless for me. Had to phone a friend and use autocheck to finish it out, but fun theme nonetheless
Well that was a struggle lol. I didn’t get the theme until I read the description after I finished (with the help of autocheck). Fair enough for a Thursday, but went over my head with a few pop culture references I had no clue on
Bit of a slog for me - I had “do a double take” for a long time before the relevance hit me. Solid puzzle but felt a bit hard for a Wednesday
I thought the FSTOP - SUPE cross was a lot trickier than the DIRNDL - DOUGIE (though I knew dougie once a few letters were in) but fairly tricky for a Monday. ACT I also took me forever to figure out
@BobSolo I feel you. Ended my Friday solve streak, had to auto check to get mat. Which I think is a bit of a stretch for an answer (no pun intended). Onto Saturday…
@Steve C I’d argue it’s more of a niche unit than obsolete, as electrochemists still use Faradays to describe how much charge is passed for a given reaction :)
@Francis fwiw us 21st century electrochemists still use Faradays quite frequently haha
