Great puzzle. I usually only comment to complain but this time I thought I would say something positive
I call foul on 48A. "ERIN" may be a name, but it's not even remotely correct as a name for Ireland, or EIRE as it's usually rendered in the crossword. Make space for Éireann, or not at all!
MOD for 18A is silly-- never heard this said, ever
More A.I. generated puzzles and I cancel my subscription. Do I pay you to get a computer to write these for you?
@The big Q Not particularly -- that'd be Nietzsche!
Hey guys, check this out! I made a puzzle with all the stuff I like!
Crossing SKU with STATIN doesn't help the crossword's reputation as an old person's retirement home activity
You can tell he's been making these since 1983 because I haven't heard of half of these things, and every other comment is from someone saying something like "Oh, yeah, huh, I remember that from way back when" . . . "THEUN"? Come on, man . . .
Hardly got any of the pop culture references. Am I just too young?
The first half of this puzzle was great-- some of it was trivia, but it was trivia I knew!
TVA is an insane clue, especially when WPA fits perfectly fine. Woe unto you...
@Josh Just wait until we get the first puzzle that has both!
GAYMECCA is an absolutely abysmal answer for an abysmal clue. My bad for never having visited a strange, unknown part of California . . .
Actually good gimmick this time and not incomprehensible slop requiring the consultation of the hints column
You can't have a puzzle with SPIDERSENSE and another with SPIDEYSENSE in the same week... That's a failure of editing. Also, ADS for "Pitcher's output"? What does that mean? All-around gimmicky IMO
@Dave Those are the Celtic Isles, to you . . .
