I’m always a little disappointed when it isn’t spelled “hunny.”

I had a little trouble in the lower right corner that I had to look up the answer. The answer for cry of pain could be a bit ambiguous, as I had “yelp.” Then I had no idea what a ceramicist works with, so I couldn’t make any sense of the last two down answers in that corner. I know I’m not the smartest or cleverest person here by a long shot, but the “Tricky Clues” often seems to answer ones I get easily and rarely the ones that stump me.

While I’m not among the “puzzles have been getting too easy” elites, this puzzle did seem a bit on the east side for a Thursday. Absolutely enjoyable, though! My one comment would be to suggest that the Clark Kent clue should’ve read that he IS an alter ego, rather than has one.

For the Midi, I was a little disappointed the answer wasn’t “Hunny”

I don’t think Robitussin targets a cold - rather the symptoms of a cold
