Long time listener; first time caller. This month was a doozy but it's the first that I've completed with all gold! Current and longest streak sitting at 45 after about 1.5 years of daily solving (and many more from the archive). I feel the difficulty ramping recently, especially after Larry Snyder's contribution on Friday the 26th (oeuvre, and the southeast) and Alex Jiang's Saturday 13th entry (Takis/Elgin). Here's to many months more!

@Andrzej The key to English spelling is etymology
I'm just bummed about losing my 84 day streak yesterday to NOCAL. I had NOfAt instead, having never heard of a LORIS and thinking historically black female universities was a thing. I thought the rebus was fine and solved in 1 hour (standard for me on mobile) but spent an extra 1h30 looking for my error. Bummer
@Steven M. The timing seems accurate. I've solved puzzles the following day quite late. Just don't open the current day while the previous day is unsolved.
Oh how I tried rebi before the downs illuminated 57A!
@Francis , hajis saved me on that one!
@Tony I feel like this was much easier than yesterday's
@R you can always try solving with just the across clues...
@Hugh Congrats. I solved in about 15 minutes minus the NE corner. Then that took another 15. Then it took me another 20 to replace lung with lunk and solve the vowel situation in the SE for Serapes and Desica :/
@Grumpy this felt like a Friday to me because of that, NOISOME, [Pips], and quite some names
@Jane Wheelaghan vacuum tubes were used in old electronics such as computers and radios. RCA was one such manufacturer
@Phil C. I saw the Grinch, personally
@Thor I usually solve on mobile but today I saw my progress after a couple minutes and switched to the PC to try to beat my ~15m Friday record. Unfortunately, I just barely missed out on that.
@Andrzej Do you have saint Nick and something akin to Deda Mraz?
@RozzieGrandma I've had less success with that because the theme answers are hidden
