@JohnWM Especially for those of us with toddlers, there are so many versions of this song now that are used to avoid the issue with kids learning “elemeno” as one letter (LMNO) due to pacing of the traditional version. Many of those versions do not have the “and” in between letters or even the last few lines of words at all. E.g. If you sing it to Mary had a little lamb tune, there are NO full words that are not just a letter anywhere in the song.
