Fun puzzle! I spent longer than I should have struggling with the NW corner because I convinced my self that SeiGES was the correct spelling. If only there was some helpful way to remember the order of those letters...

I got the theme fairly quickly but still hated the way the zz answers looked. Maybe this puzzle suffers for being published recently after that planetary one, which was a way more elegant "trick," and, in terms of puzzle quality, was in a completely different orbit.

@Esmerelda the clue we got was much worse! Not a fan of the editors taking something clever and making it boring and easy. Love the quiet protest putting it back in the constructor notes
