Fun puzzle. The intersection of 36 down and 58 across (Rosten who wrote “The Joys of Yiddish/Japanese company that created Hello Kitty) feels a bit too trivia-ish, as that could really be any letter in the alphabet. No complaints other than that, clever stuff

Not a very good one today, in my humble opinion!

This is maybe my favorite crossword I’ve done in two years of doing them every day. Kudos to the author!

@Conor First of all: As a every day crossword solver, I think I am more than entitled to my opinion on this matter. I look forward to the Sunday crossword as a paragon of wordplay excellence. I am not angry, more disappointed with the juveline trick involved in today’s theme. I see myself as something of a connoisseur, and today’s crossword left me wanting. Furthermore, my Oxford American Dictionary showed a conspicious lack of “Ahnold” today.

Pretty good puzzle overall but “amscray” crossed with “mot” and “Savile Row” is ridiculous

“Top speeds” and “no hit games” on Opening Day feels blasphemous… good puzzle though!
